Anthurium

Introduced to Hawaii in the 1880s, anthuriums are one of the largest ag sectors on Hawaii Island.

Macadamia

Most of the state's 570 farms and 17,000 acres currently planted in macadamia are on Hawaii Island.

Coffee

Coffee is grown on 790 farms encompassing 3,800 acres across the island with major production located in the Kona district.

Cattle

Home to Parker Ranch, one of the largest cattle ranches in the U.S., Hawaii Island produces 60% of the cattle in the state.

Papaya

Nearly 90% of Hawaii's papaya is farmed in the Puna District.
